Boot Camp Is Operated By the New Fathers Foundation

Boot Camp for New Dads started in 1990 and in 1997 we formed the New Fathers Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to expand and operate it. The Board of Directors is as follows:

Greg Bishop, Founder

A brother to twelve, father of two sons and two daughters, and “Papa” to four grandchildren, Greg is the founder of Boot Camp for New Dads and President of the New Fathers Foundation. He is also CEO of Trauma Care of America, Inc. and founder of the non-profit Trauma Center Association of America.

Alison Bishop, President & Board Member

Alison is the mother of four and the founder and inaugural facilitator of Boot Camp for New Moms.
Alison is also the Director of Boot Camp for New Dads and the President of Dads Adventure, which provides funding and administrative support to Boot Camp for New Dads and Moms.

Chuck Ault, Board Member

Chuck Ault, father of two daughters, trained as a Boot Camp coach with Greg in 1997 and went on to develop and lead our national Master Coach Training program. He now serves as head coach of Boot Camp for New Dads.
Chuck is the Regional Director, Community Health Improvement, Intermountain Health, Peaks Region – St. Joseph Hospital and Lutheran Medical Center.

Lamar henderson, board member

Lamar is the Family Services Supervisor for Merced County Human Service Agency’s All Dads Matter Program, where for 20 years he has supported men with resources for their fatherhood journey.  He was chair of the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Commission of Merced County for 13 years and is a trainer for various programs, including at UC Davis and Fresno State University.

John Bishop, Board Member

The father of two girls, John is founder and CEO of an architectural graphics design firm and brings key management skills to the New Fathers Foundation, Inc. John is Greg’s youngest brother and has helped with the development of Boot Camp for New Dads since inception.

ryan berryman, Board Member

Ryan is the proud father of two adult children and grandfather of nine. He founded San Bernardino Fatherhood, Inc., which provides fathers with educational services, resources, and works to reduce black infant mortality.
Prior to that, Ryan spent 20+ years as a Child Welfare Social Worker working with troubled youth in group homes and developmentally disabled children.
